Ms. Yap Jia Thong (Ms. Yap) has been involved in the renewable energy sector, particularly in the solar industry, since July 2024. She is currently serving in a marketing and business development capacity within organisations engaged in solar solutions and related services.

In her present roles, Ms. Yap is responsible for business development, client engagement and supporting marketing initiatives aimed at promoting solar energy solutions and expanding market reach. She has experience in liaising with both corporate clients and individual customers, and is actively involved in driving growth within the renewable energy and sustainability sector.

In January 2026, she further expanded her scope of responsibilities to include business development functions in a separate organisation, strengthening her exposure to strategic partnerships and market expansion initiatives.
