SUSTAINABILITY POLICY

Vision Statement:

GTB aspires to be the global business partner of choice in niche products and services and, in doing so, we recognize the importance of respecting and improving the environmental, social and economic aspects of the world in which we operate.

Goal:

We are intent on achieving a culture within our group of GTB companies where sustainability is a common goal, developing a progressive sustainability strategy and making a positive contribution to the long-term environmental, social and economic aspects of the communities to which we are connected via business activities.

Key Principles:

This policy sets out the key principles that are the driving force behind the sustainability strategy which is at the very heart of our activities:

In particular, we aim to:

  • Improve the quality of life for our employees and communities in which we operate in through various technical and management training programmes and the exercise of corporate social responsibility
  • Develop successful partnership with the local business community through localization of pro
  • Make efficient use of natural resources and consider the long-term environmental impacts of our operations
  • Continuously promote innovative production process for the sustainable benefits of environment and society
  • Provides a safe and healthy environment for our employees through implementation of various Environmental, Health and Safety programmes
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the country of operations and adhere to international practices and guidelines where applicable.
  • Disclose the Policy, management approach and performance as well as become a role model in shaping a culture of sustainable business conduct.

Commitment:

GTB will strive towards continuous improvement in our overall performance by reviewing our progress on a regular basis and reporting to the Board. We are committed to establishing, promoting, maintaining and improving a culture of sustainability and environmental responsibility by our employees, our supply chain and broader stakeholders.

Review of Policy

This policy will be reviewed at least annually and revised as necessary to reflect changes to the business activities and any changes to legislation. Any changes to the policy will be brought to the attention of all stakeholders.
