Mr. Khoo Kay Leong is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (“MIA”) and Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“MICPA”). He joined Can-One as Group Chief Financial Officer on 1 October 2012 and is responsible for the financial matters of Can-One Group prior his retirement in year 2021. He has extensive experience in accounting, financial management, corporate finance and taxation, having worked in the commercial sectors of various industries for more than 30 years. He started his career in Messrs. KPMG for several years where he then left to join the manufacturing sectors. He served in various senior management capacities in local corporations which include Can-One Berhad as Group Chief Financial Officer before retiring in 2021. He is the Chairman of Nominating Committee (“NC”), a member of Audit and Risk Management Committee (“ARMC”) and Employee Share Option Scheme (“ESOS”) Committee in GTB. Mr. Khoo Kay Leong does not have any family relationship with any director and/or major shareholder of GTB, nor any conflict of interest in any business arrangement involving the Company. |
