Ms. Heng Charng Yee graduated with a degree in Engineering (Major in Electronics) from Multimedia University, Malaysia.

She started her career with Tyco Fire and Security in Malaysia as an Asia Management Trainee in September 2007. Her career in Tyco Fire and Security expanded to roles in Project Management, Regional Business Operations and Operational Excellence and Strategic business expansion in Malaysia, Singapore and Shanghai.

She joined GMSB in 2013 as a Quality and Strategic Business Manager in charge of overseeing quality across GSB and GMSB as well as development of strategic projects. She was appointed as Vice President of Business and Operations in January 2018, appointed as COO of GTB in January 2021 and subsequently appointed as CEO of GTB in July 2022.

She is appointed as a committee member of Frepenca, an industrial advisor for Faculty of Business and Finance of University Tunku Abdul Rahman (“UTAR”) in year 2022 and a mentor for Dell’s MentorConnect programme.

She attended 3 of the 5 Board Meetings held during the financial year ended 31 December 2022 since her appointment on 12 May 2022.

Ms. Heng Charng Yee does not have any family relationship with any director and/or major shareholders of GTB nor any conflict of interest in any business arrangement involving the Company.
